4th year being especially hard for couples dating one another?

to me it sounds like he is trying to imply something, because i have never ever heard anything like that. yes college is somewhere where you can have fun but come on being in a relationship this long then saying that, nope to me that sounds ridiculous, if that were true then i would be seperated from my special guy.
