Ever heard this soprano? What's your opinion?

I well remember buying, in about 1961, a 10'' Decca LP of Lisa Della Casa performing Strauss's Four Last Songs, this on reading about her incomparable performance in an essay by the great music (and cricket) commentator, Neville Cardus. Both my mother and I nearly wore the record out listening to it. I was so glad when, 30 or so years later I was able to buy the performance on CD. She is wonderful in Richard Strauss and in Mozart. Ihad no idea that the lady is still with us. Many Happy Returns to her!
