Tattoo placement preference...inner arm or upper thigh?

i'm planning for my first tattoo in the next few months and i cannot decide which location to put it. I'd like a dagger on my upper inner arm or very high up on the top of my thigh...so only if i was wearing shorts you could see it. i know from a business standpoint the leg seems much easier and no one is going to see. But i really like the idea of getting a Japanese dagger down my upper inner arm. Obviously there are 3/4 sleeves and since it won't be on the outside as long as I keep my arms at my side no one could see it if I needed to hide it. However I also don't think the dagger would look at cool on my upper thigh, so i was thinking about getting something else there instead. Either way which location do you think would be best, no lower back or ankle tattoos. i want it in a more "unique" location. Thanks
