Question about pain medication?

I'm currently prescribed to Prednisone, Celebrex, amitriptylene hydrochloride, and 5mg oxycodone for fibromylagia and arthritis pain. My doctor and I were discussing a stronger pain medication for in the morning because that's when I hurt the most (endocet 10mg), and using the 5mg oxycodone for breakthrough pain. I can't get to my regular doctor for another two weeks, and the morning pain is too much now that I've found something that helps. Can I go to another doctor in the meantime and explain my situation? I don't have insurance, so I want to be clear about what I need if I call another doctor so I don't have to go there multiple times and pay out of pocket. Any ideas?
