How diffrent is the sound of soprno ukulele to the sound of a tenor?

Pretty different. And one is not better than the other -- just different. The soprano is the traditional uke sound, which is plinkier. The tenor is a bigger sound that starts heading towards a guitar sound . . . but the tenor still sounds like a uke (unlike a baritone, which really sounds like a cousin to the guitar).
