How do you change the high mount stop light on a 1999 infiniti I30?

I'm trying to change the bulb on the high mount stop light on a 1999 infiniti I30. Basically the same thing as a nissan maxima. I have not found any access from the trunk and I'm not sure how to open the plastic housing around the light.
