Ps3 burnout paradise save and load problems?

hey, i have burnout paradise on ps3 and i ped around half the game and saved it and turned off the ps3, then the next day i turn on ps3 and it puts me in beginning of game... i go to ps3 main menu and save data, then it says for the burnout paradise game save it says corrupted data!!!!! so does this mean i have to start all over again?? and i know i saved it correctly because i saved it like 5 times so anyone know the problem?
