Anybody whos had follicle tracking scan?

i was realy excited today as its my first cycle of clomid and toaday was my first tracking scan, the lady who did the scan said there was no large follicles yet and i would have to come back monday then again wednesday and if still nothing abandon this cycle. it kind of put me on a bit of a downer! has anybody been for a scan and had small follicles and then gone on to get larger ones? just curious thanks in advance
