To create dreamlike blue smoke... clouds, what medium should i use? water color pencils... or colored pencils?

definitely watercolour, because they achieve the cloudy affect when dry anyway if you use alot of water. I like you idea too it sounds really interesting. Keep watching videos but best of all experiment yourself because you can always invent a new way of using them.
